Miracles Outreach:

Miracles Outreach has provided foster care and other services to more than 400 youth in Florida since 2000. They focus on children who are homeless, have been abused or were victims of Human Trafficking between the ages of twelve and seventeen. Their mission is to help children become self-sufficient in a loving and supportive family environment that is safe and secure in order to have a better quality of life. Michelle Walker, their founder told us of how she started the program as an afterschool outreach program in Sulfur Springs. The funds would be used to help with night lights, furniture and other equipment to prepare their new 52 bed facility.


Autism Awareness shop:

The goal of Autism Awareness Shop is increasing the independence, employability and community inclusion of those on the Autism spectrum. Unfortunately, the 2nd leading cause of death amongst “friends” (people on the Autism spectrum) is suicide. After graduating from high school many are left with no prospects for employment and are often socially isolated. The Autism Awareness Shop aspires to improve the overall quality of life for our “friends” by increasing independence with life skills and by teaching the skills needed to find and maintain employment.

Jennifer Brand the founder of presented on behalf of the organization requesting funds to renovate their 2000 sq foot space to enhance their space for training, therapy and social skills training.


American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders:

The American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders (APFED) was founded in 2001 by a group of families impacted by eosinophil-associated diseases. Eosinophilic diseases impact an individual’s ability to eat solid food and they must purchase liquid food to survive. Stephanie Walls presented on behalf of APFED and shared the experience of her son who suffers from an eosinophilic disorder. Now age 20 her son still lives exclusively on liquid nutrition. Her request for funds would cover the organizations’ annual advocacy day, travel grants medical attention and medical nutrition for families in the Tampa Bay Area.


Youth Mental Health First Aid

The Youth Mental Health First Aid program is an eight hour professional development program for all staff that encounter school children. It is not a substitute for therapy or crises intervention but gives staff the basic knowledge of what to look for in children experiencing a mental health challenge.


A local organic community farm that offers organic produce for sale as well as many community education experiences for schools and individuals. Folks with SNAP benefits get double the produce! Most of our donation will go towards a Community Land Trust which will preserve the farm for the community forever.


Are You Safe?

Provides free of charge legal services for domestic abuse victims. They ensure families are safe from their abusers with legal injunctions also known as restraining orders.

TRIBE—Seminole Heights:

A local community center offering arts, health and wellness activities and a safe space for vulnerable children and families to connect and thrive. They serve anyone (including children with special needs) who want to take advantage of their $5 enrichment classes. Many of their clients are children who attend the Title 1 schools nearby.


ICT - Covid-19 Community Food Drive:

ICT is currently feeding families by providing food packages in response to the current crises.  All families need to do is show up, open their trunk, and they will be given food.  If the elderly or those who can not drive need assistance they can call the masjid to have a food package delivered to their door. Their numbers for demand have tripled since they have received media coverage. 200 Muslim Women Who Care donated Target gift cards to include in the food packages for hygiene supplies.


College Women On the rise Program:

The Women’s Conference of Florida, Inc. through the College Women on the Rise Program has a mission to provide educational experiences and scholarship opportunities to a younger generation of women. To provide career and networking connections at the conference through sponsored attendance, customized special programing workshops and scholarship opportunities to help support their educational journey. They provide educational scholarships for participants based on essays and 100% of our donation will be used to support 10 low income & deserving women go to college in the Tampa Bay Area. 


Cystic Fibrosis foundation

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and pancreas of more than 70,000 people worldwide, including more than 30,000 people in United States. Of the 30,000 in the US, approximately 175 are children in St. Petersburg and Tampa area. 

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation runs a care center for CF patients at our local John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital & our donation would help augment care for local patients at the center.


florida justice center

The Florida Justice Center provides a second chance to those who have been incarcerated. They work with first-time offenders, social justice advocates, military veterans, low income individuals and anyone returning home from prison to provide legal & social services. 

100% of the money used would be allocated to bail bonds for individuals in the Tampa Area.


Bayaan academy

Academy is in the process of constructing the first Islamic school in Wesley Chapel. The money will be used for site development.
